Don’t Drink Alcohol … Gamble

If you like to take an alcoholic beverage every so often, leave your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a brick and mortar casino. I am serious. clean out your pocketbook, your wallet, and leave all cash, credit cards and cheques at home. Take whatever cash you are planning to use on beverages, tips and whatever loose coins you plan on loosing and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not really. Practical more like. You may well discover a success after a drunken evening out with your friends and be lucky enough to catch a marathon roll at a smokin craps table. Hold on to that account because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink and gamble. The two simply do not mix.

Keeping your money at home is a little dramatic, however, defensive actions for dramatic actions is proportionate and necessary. If you bet to win, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to throw away your cash without a worry, then drink all the no cost booze your belly can handle, but don’t take credit cards and checks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your drunken brain squanders all the cash!
